Here’s a very useful chart to help your mix in relation to the song’s key. The tonal center of a track is an important element to keep in mind. For example, if you’re building a dance track that has F as the main tonal center, it may be nice to tune your kick drum to the same note. Mixing with Note-to-Frequency Chart allows you to identify the exact note and its exact frequency.
The note-to-frequency chart becomes really useful when equalizing the kick and the bass to ensure that they don’t interfere with each other, and to ensure your fundamental frequency sounds clean.
With this table, you can associate musical notes with their fundamental frequencies across the full range of the piano and use it to match the frequency you want to emphasize in your mix. You can also use it to identify and mitigate excessively resonant notes on some string instruments.
Enjoy!
